St Peter's Nursery School Ofsted Report

The relationship with parents is of great importance to this Nursery and the most recent Ofsted report states: “Parents talk very positively and supportively about the setting. A strong emphasis is placed on developing successful partnerships with parents. There is a good two-way flow of information”

Our Ofsted reports have also stated:

"Children feel safe and secure as they happily skip into nursery school and participate in suitable play activities set out.”

“Coffee mornings are popular and parents evenings complement the daily feedback with staff and parents sharing children's progress. Parents also enjoy the end of term concerts"

“Children are confident and have high levels of self esteem. They respond well to praise and encouragement from staff. Staff know the children well and value them as individuals.... Children's spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is fostered."

"The quality of teaching and learning is good. Children are making good progress towards early learning goals. The enthusiastic staff team support all children's learning."

"Children are very happy and animated during the session. They excitedly request favourite songs during circle time and enthusiastically participate with the actions . Children are sociable and have good relationships with their peers and adults."

The latest Ofsted report is available to read on the Ofsted website.  However we are currently in communication with Ofsted over certain aspects of the report and we expect the report to be revised early in 2012.
